This Boy...
is my life! I think about him 24/7 now that he is in bootcamp! I haven't posted on this blog in such a long time, but I think it will be the therapy I need to get me through the next few weeks! February 13th, my boy will be a Man, a Marine, a new person! I love him more than words can describe. The heartache I feel right now hurts so much. I miss him so much! I can't wait to give him a HUGE hug on February 12th during Family Day! I love you Brandon!

Animal Blessings
If it weren't for this Handsome fella here, it would be so much more difficult for my daughter to get over the occasional broken heart. A boyfriend dumped her after a couple of weeks of going out. As much as her dad and I were bummed for her, we would be overjoyed if "Echo, her horse" were the only guy in her life right now!
One thing I can tell you is that she loves that horse with all her heart! And he can fix anything!
Blessings,
Caron

January 2, 2008 - Happy New Year!
There's nothing like a new year to start fresh. New resolutions. New Goals. You get the idea. Although I always start the year out with all sort of great ideas in mind, well, you know where I'm going on this one.
So I haven't really resolved to do anything in particular in 2008. I do plan on eating out alot less. I have given up soda. Therefore I'm drinking more water. Trying to get more organized and de-cluttered in 2008. Be more healthy, and everything that goes with all of that.
So, here's to a new year!! A new start! And some new beginnings.
Blessings everyone,
Caron

Today my friend Val and I went to Walnut Creek, Ohio. Amish Country! I love heading up there at least once a year. Lots of shopping, homemade goodies from the Amish, and just great sightseeing with lots of land and not alot of housing. It is such a vast difference from where I live and it's only a few hours away!
I just went there last week with my daughter (which was a great time also). I always enjoy myself on those trips. I bought a few things. A rug for my kitchen, a couple of pitchers (I collect them), and a small vase that I plan on making wire/button flowers and putting them in it and displaying the vase in my scrapbook room. We also stopped by a farm and bought some fresh produce. Broccoli, onions, squash and zuchinni, fresh strawberries, homemade bread and rolls. Yum!
That's all for today. Blessings.

Today was my follow-up appointment with Dr. Moore, my Oncologist. I might add, the most awesome Oncologist out there! LOL. Of course, he's the only Oncologist I know, but I can still be a bit biased. He's just a super nice guy. That's all I can say. He gave me wonderful news...that my bone marrow biopsy had come back "normal" again! No sign of Cancer! And even better news is that I don't have to see him for another six months. Three months longer than previous visits. Plus no more lab work till then also. Yeah! No more monthly lab work! I was very excited to hear this news!
I picked up some super cute stuff at Michaels today that I'm going to RAK to a fellow blogger. This is someone whose site I visit daily for inspiration. I am RAKing her because she seems like a super nice person and totally deserving of a RAK. "Random Act of Kindness".
I am missing my daughter tonight who is away at Camp. I know she is homesick because we received a call yesterday and she wanted to come home. Mind you, she's 16 1/2. I think it had more to do with her "boyfriend" who had to stay behind and couldn't go to camp with her. lol. This is her first boyfriend and I know she must be missing him, not us. Regardless, we told her to "tough it out" and enjoy her week away. She must have found a friend to keep her occupied because we didn't hear back from her today. I hope she's having a good time.
Blessings, Caron
Blessings for Today - An obvious one, I am still Cancer Free!!
