Today is my first entry on my blog. I went into the hospital early this morning for my 3rd Bone Marrow Biopsy. It has been six months since my last one. I must say that up till today I have been very lucky with these things! This month marks my one year anniversary of having CML.
The first one - I slept right through it, felt good afterward, and the next day was a little sore.
The second one - I was awake, could feel pressure when they performed the biopsy, and had absolutely no pain afterward! Gotta love my Oncologist!
Today though, was a little different. I was awake, and could feel everything! Yep, it was not very pleasant. And I felt a little embarressed because I started to cry! LOL. Oh well, I wasn't sobbing, but there were definitely some tears this time. It was very painful. Thank goodness it didn't last too long. And after several cat naps this afternoon, I'm feeling pretty good. A little sore like the first time, but not as much pain as I thought I would have after feeling everything today!
For those who might pop onto my blog on occasion, this blog will mostly be about life experiences, CML, Scrapbooking, Friends, and Blessings.
Blessings for Today - My Son who took me to the hospital this morning. He had this lovely job because my husband is out of town and I was unable to drive myself (due to being sedated). And I only had to attempt to wake him up twice! And my wonderful friend Val who picked me up from the hospital and brought me home! Thank you Val!
